Ren came to me with a red Behidadolic dress and I knew she was my kind of bride.

It was through the process of designing her invitation cards when I got to know her even more, understanding her likes, dislikes and her point of view. I wanted her AD flowers to really reflect their relationship and personality. And they were so kind to gift me books that they loved as well - The Last Unicorn and Stardust - which gave another point of inspiration for their wedding flowers.

Pincushion protea was used as the main flower, at special request by the bride as it was her favourite. Gotta say it really goes so well with her dress(es) - She later bought a Cecilie Bahnsen dress as her white bridal dress.

For the bridal party, I made them different posies - each special in its own way!

For the main set up, I wanted to add this element of magic (from their books) with a touch of quirky.

Thanks so much Ren & Alex for giving me this opportunity to flower your wedding. You were my first ‘big’ wedding couple and to be able to trust me who back then didn’t have much to show for it meant a lot.
